What's sold
You will find used professional equipment: construction machinery, trucks, trailers, vans, forklifts, workshop machines, catering (horeca) gear, office furniture and tools. Sellers are companies, Belgian municipalities, police zones, traders and bankruptcy trustees (curateurs). Almost all lots sit in Wallonia or Brussels, and one trader consigns many new tools.
Who can bid
- Private buyers: Anyone who registers and completes their profile. Auctelia may check your ID and IP location, ask for proof you can pay, or require a bank guarantee before some auctions. A card hold (empreinte bancaire) of EUR 25 to EUR 1,000 may apply; whether it is still used is not confirmed.
- Businesses: The same checks, plus company name, sector and VAT number. Some lots are for professionals only and need documents such as a company register extract. To buy both privately and for a company you need two separate accounts.
Registration
- Sign up at login.auctelia.com with an email address and password.
- Activate the account through the link in the email.
- Pick private or company status; companies enter a valid EU VAT number.
- Fill in name, mobile number and address, or bidding stays blocked ("Incomplete account").
- Upload company documents if you want professional-only lots.
- To view a lot, email info@auctelia.com at least 48 hours in advance.

How bidding works
- Set a proxy bid (enchère dynamique) with a hidden maximum; it wins a tie against a static bid.
- Bid steps grow with the price, for example EUR 75 from EUR 400 and EUR 150 from EUR 1,000.
- Lots close one by one from 18:30 Brussels time. A bid in the last 5 minutes adds 5 minutes to that lot.
- Reserve prices (prix de réserve) are hidden. Most sales also need the seller's approval within 48 hours, and Auctelia may award the lot to another bidder or to nobody.
- Every bid is binding and cannot be withdrawn. If you mistype, email info@auctelia.com straight away.
- A losing bid can still bind you until pickup day if the winner defaults.
- You have only bought the lot once a confirmation email arrives, within 48 working hours.
Watch out
- The terms allow Auctelia to bid on lots and to bid for others; seller bidding is not banned.
- If you miss your pickup slot, a paid lot can be treated as abandoned; one buyer lost a lot this way.
- Auctelia only brokers the sale, so short quantities, missing vehicle papers and no-shows are the seller's problem.
- Bankruptcy and private-seller lots have no warranty and no right of withdrawal; check the seller type first.
Verdict: Good for bargains on lots without a reserve if you can collect in Belgium on a fixed date. Treat reserve lots as uncertain and budget about 42% above the hammer price.
